Abstract

Abstract A fiber mesh net is insert molded into an interior cavity of a cover structure of a portable electronic device such as a cellular or radio telephone to provide EMI shielding. The fiber mesh net is also bonded to one surface of a polymer sheet which additionally carries electronic circuitry on its opposite side to form a laminate which is inserted molded into a cover structure to extend electrical circuitry functionality via selected fibers of the fiber mesh net for access from the electronic device cover.
