Claim 2
Independent Claim
57 words
A method for manufacturing an applicator for a product, comprising: simultaneously applying a mixture, by electrostatic flocking, over at least a portion of the surface of a support; wherein said mixture comprises (i) coating fibers, and (ii) a cosmetic powder, wherein said mixture comprises 0.1-40% of said powder based on the weight of the fibers and powder.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
74 words
The method of claim 1, wherein said applying by flocking comprises: forming said mixture; coating said at least said portion of the surface of said support with a liquid adhesive; depositing said mixture, by electrostatic attraction, on said at least said portion of the surface of said support, thereby orienting substantially perpendicular said coating fibers to the surface of said support; and drying said at least said portion of the surface of said support.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
15 words
The method of claim 2, further comprising: eliminating any excess mixture by suction, after cooling.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
16 words
The method of claim 2, wherein said coating with said liquid adhesive comprises immersing or spraying.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
23 words
The method of claim 1, wherein said mixture comprises 5-20% of said powder based on the weight of the fibers and the particles.
