Total Claims: 13
Claim 1
Independent Claim 176 words
An intraluminal graft, comprising: a generally tubular body having an interior surface and being biocompatible; a plurality of spaced apart anchors attached to the tubular body, the anchors being sized and positioned to penetrate a luminal wall, at least one of the plurality of spaced apart anchors being a main anchor; and a helical coil having a plurality of loops, the helical coil having a delivery state wherein the plurality of loops are stretched to a reduced diameter, and a deployed state, wherein the plurality of loops have an expanded diameter and are located adjacent to one another, the helical coil being positioned adjacent the interior surface of the tubular body, a first end of the helical coil being attached to the tubular body and a second end of the helical coil being sized and configured for attachment to an insertion device; a lock affixed to the second end of the helical coil, the lock being adapted to lockingly receive an end of the main anchor when the helical coil is expanded to the deployed state.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 176 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 28 words
The intraluminal graft of claim 1 wherein at least a portion of the tubular body is furcated, thereby forming a distal tube and a plurality of proximal tubes.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 28 words
The intraluminal graft of claim 2 also comprising at least one loop attached to one of the plurality of proximal tubes and suitable for snaring and manipulation thereof.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 62 words
The intraluminal graft of claim 1 wherein the helical coil further comprises a plurality of spaced apart tabs, the plurality of spaced-apart tab being biased towards the longitudinal axis of the helical coil, each of the plurality of spaced apart tabs being positioned to retain one portion of the helical coil in a preselected alignment with another portion of the helical coil.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 24 words
The intraluminal graft of claim 1 wherein each of the plurality of anchors has a plurality of barbed tines for penetrating a luminal wall.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 17 words
The intraluminal graft of claim 5 wherein each of the plurality of tines has a saw-tooth configuration.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 14 words
The intraluminal graft of claim 1 wherein the helical coil is a preselected diameter.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 19 words
The intraluminal graft of claim 7 wherein the preselected diameter is between about 20 millimeters and about 35 millimeters.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 26 words
The intraluminal graft of claim 1 wherein the helical coil is adapted to exert a selectable radial force upon the interior surface of the tubular body.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 174 words
An intraluminal graft, comprising: a biocompatible, generally tubular body having an interior surface, at least a portion of the tubular body being furcated, thereby forming a distal tube and a plurality of proximal tubes; a plurality of spaced apart anchors attached to the tubular body, the anchors being sized and positioned to penetrate a luminal wall, at least one of the plurality of spaced apart anchors being a main anchor; a self-expanding helical coil having a plurality of loops, the helical coil having a delivery state wherein the plurality of loops are stretched to a reduced diameter, and a deployed state, wherein the plurality of loops have an expanded diameter and are located adjacent to one another, the helical coil being positioned adjacent the interior surface of the tubular body, and being suitable for removable attachment to an insertion device; and a lock affixed to an end of the helical coil, the lock being adapted to lockingly receive an end of the main anchor when the helical coil is expanded to the deployed state.
Claim 12
Claim 13
Dependent Claim 32 words
The intraluminal graft of claim 10 wherein said self-expanding helical coil comprises a first end attached to the tubular body, and a second end being suitable for attachment to the insertion device.
