Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 65 words
An azeotrope-like composition consisting essentially of 49-55 weight percent difluoromethane, 40-49.5 weight percent pentafluoroethane and about 0.5-3 weight percent carbon dioxide, said composition having a liquid and a vapor phase, wherein when 50 weight percent of an initial composition is evaporated the vapor pressure of the composition changes by less than about 10 percent and further wherein said composition is nonflammable in the vapor phase.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 65 words
An azeotrope-like composition consisting essentially of 49-55 weight percent difluoromethane, 40-49.5 weight percent pentafluoroethane and about 0.5-3 weight percent carbon dioxide, said composition having a liquid and a vapor phase, wherein when 50 weight percent of an initial composition is evaporated the vapor pressure of the composition changes by less than about 10 percent and further wherein said composition is nonflammable in the vapor phase.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 26 words
A process for producing refrigeration, comprising condensing a composition of claim 1 and thereafter evaporating said composition in the vicinity of a body to be cooled.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 26 words
A process for producing heat comprising condensing a composition of claim 1 in the vicinity of a body to be heated, and thereafter evaporating said composition.
