Abstract A transparent substrate (1), comprising a support having thereon thin multiple layers comprising two layers of silver (3,5) alternating with three dielectric layers (2,4,6), the silver layer (3) closest to the substrate being thinner than the other silver layer (5), wherein the material of the dielectric layers is zinc sulfide.
