Abstract
Abstract A gasket is disclosed for shielding from electromagnetic emissions and interference (EMI) that exhibits excellent characteristics of recovery, bending, and tangential compression over a wide range of frequencies. The gasket comprises a knitted core of monofilament synthetic polymer yarns, and a circular warp knitted sheath over the monofilament knitted core, with the sheath being sufficiently conductive to provide shielding from electromagnetic interference over a wide range of frequencies.
