Abstract

Abstract A basic gain providing unit provides a basic gain K0. A boundary detecting unit divides a nonlinear characteristic of a controlled variable component into a plurality of partial characteristics with a boundary interposed between two adjacent ones of the partial characteristics and detects each boundary. A gain changing unit changes the basic gain in response to an output of the boundary detecting unit.
