Method for controlling injection molder

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the follow-up controllabilities of injection speed and of dwell pressure by a method wherein an injection molding process is divided into a plurality of sections and the state feedback gain and compensating element are changed over for every section. CONSTITUTION:Dynamic characteristic patterns of an injection cylinder pressure Pa, cylinder speed (u), an in-cylinder pressure P0 and an in-mold pressure P1 are displayed on an input device 1g and divided in accordance with response characteristics into sections I-V. Next, at a CPU 1a, the coefficient matrix parameters of differential equations of dynamic characteristics at every section are fixed, and compensating elements are determined, and at the same time state feedback gains are calculated at every section and stored in a memory 1b. Further, feedback gains and compensating elements are changed over in response to the position of a screw in a section in the section I-V so as to compute a plurality of controlled variables of said controlled system and to determine a variable to be manipulated in order to control the opening of a servo valve 8.
