Abstract
Abstract An arrangement for permitting the safe, shielded use of a hand held cellular telephone in a structure such as a building or a vehicle or airplane through the use of a dock which receives the cellular telephone and its short external antenna. The dock includes a housing which encloses the antenna and couples it to a more distant antenna external to the structure through a sheilded transmission cable, where the RF signals may be sent and received without harm to the person using the cellular telephone.
