Abstract
Abstract PCT No. PCT/JP91/01111 Sec. 371 Date Jun. 2, 1992 Sec. 102(e) Date Jun. 2, 1992 PCT Filed Aug. 21, 1991 PCT Pub. No. WO92/06238 PCT Pub. Date Apr. 16, 1992.A heat resistant nonwoven fabric comprises 95 to 50% by weight of heat resistant fibers and 5 to 50% by weight of thermoplastic resin, the thermoplastic resin being in the form of pillar-shaped melt-bonding members located between the heat resistant fibers, to thereby bond the heat resistant fibers to each other therethrough, has an excellent heat resistance, formability and concealing effect, and a relatively low density, and is useful as an air filter and a covering sheet for heat resistant shaped articles.
