Abstract

Abstract A current detectable transistor T r comprises a main transistor in which a main current flows and a sense transistor for detecting the current flowing in the main transistor. A sense resistance R S having a temperature coefficient α S suitable for maintaining the constancy of a sense voltage V S regardless of a temperature change ΔT is provided at the emitter of the sense transistor. Because the sense voltage V S can be measured between the two ends of a sense resistor R S with little temperature drift, the sense voltage V S obtained as a detection result remains constant regardless of the temperature change ΔT, thereby enabling a current to be detected with high precision.
