Abstract

Abstract An input-weighted transversal filter having a first input circuit for inputting a sampled input signal which is sampled at every predetermined period, registers for storing a predetermined number of tap weights, the register selectively supplying the tap weights in a predetermined order, a plurality of tap weight multipliers for multiplying the sampled input signal and a tap weight supplied from the registers, a pipeline processing adder for adding the multiplied outputs from the tap weight multipliers with each other and a second input circuit for inputting signals to the pipeline processing adder, the second input circuit having at least one input coupled to the output of the pipeline processing adder.
