Abstract

Abstract An electronic image filing system includes a reader for reading desired information from a first storage medium containing a plurality of information, a storing device for storing the image read by the reader into a second storage medium, and a controller for controlling the store operation of the storing device. The image on the first storage medium can be retrieved by either the controller or the reader. Following information can be retrieved before the information read by the reader has been stored into the second storage medium.
