Abstract The invention relates to a lipid compound of formula (I): <IMAGE> (I) where R1 denotes a C11 to C21 alkyl or alkenyl radical and R2 denotes a linear or branched C8 to C30 hydrocarbon radical, saturated or bearing one or more ethylenically unsaturated bonds, and also to a process for preparing it and to compositions for cosmetic use of pharmaceutical use for skin conditions containing this compound.
