Abstract A shipping combination is disclosed wherein a conventional wooden pallet capable of supporting a plurality of barrels is removably affixed to a tray, having essentially the same shape and dimensions as said pallet, for receiving said barrels. The tray has a plurality of raised abutments projecting from its interior surface for engaging the vertical outside surfaces of the barrels, thereby maintaining said barrels in a substantially fixed relative position.
