Claim 1
Independent Claim 52 words
A method of dehydrating a liposome preparation, comprising spray drying liposomes suspended in an aqueous dispersion medium in the presence of a preserving additive at a temperature of 60° C. to 150° C., to produce a liposome preparation, which when reconstituted, maintains substantially the size, size distribution and integrity of the liposomes.
Claim 2
Independent Claim 52 words
A method of dehydrating a liposome preparation, comprising spray drying liposomes suspended in an aqueous dispersion medium in the presence of a preserving additive at a temperature of 60° C. to 150° C., to produce a liposome preparation, which when reconstituted, maintains substantially the size, size distribution and integrity of the liposomes.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 15 words
The method according to claim 1 wherein the liposomes are less than about 2000 A.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 11 words
