Abstract
Abstract A method and composition are disclosed for the preparation of polyurethane and polyurea molded articles, particularly according to the RIM method, in which liquid polybutadiene with an average molecular weight of 1,500 to 6,000 is used as an internal release agent in an amount of 0.5 to 5% by weight, based on the reaction formulation. The release agent is highly effective and demolded products which contain this release agent can be painted over without formation of surface defects.
