Abstract
Abstract A composition suitable for use in producing tire treads, is provided. The composition comprises a halogen-containing copolymer of a C 4 to C 7 isomonoolefin and a para-alkylstyrene; a rubber, such as, styrene-butadiene rubber, carbon black, and a plasticizer oil. Tires comprising treads made of the composition are also provided.
