Abstract

Abstract A working fluid comprising trifluoromethane, chlorodifluoromethane and at least one halogenated ethane which consists of two carbon atoms, 1 or 2 hydrogen atoms, 0 to 2 chlorine atoms and balance of fluorine atoms and has a boiling point of not lower than -30° C. under atmospheric pressure, which has very small influence on the ozone layer in the stratosphere and is suitable as a substitute working fluid for dichlorodifluoromethane.
