Abstract

Abstract Phenol-organopolysiloxane chainstoppers are phosgenated in combination with a bisphenol to make flame retardant organopolysiloxane-polycarbonate triblock copolymers. The phenol-organopolysiloxane chainstoppers can be made by effecting addition between an aliphatically unsaturated phenol and a silicon-hydride organopolysiloxane.
