Abstract
Abstract Solid particle dispersions of dyes according to the formula: ##STR1## are disclosed as filter dyes for photographic elements. In this formula, n is 0 or 1. R 1 is CO 2 H or NHSO 2 R 2 where R 2 is substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or substituted or unsubstituted aryl. R 3 is substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or substituted or unsubstituted aryl. Z represents the atoms necessary to complete a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic nucleus.
