Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 19
Claim 1
Independent Claim 75 words
A process for making aluminoxanes, said process comprising: (A) placing an inert hydrocarbon solution of a hydrocarbyl aluminum compound in a reaction vessel under an inert atmosphere, said inert hydrocarbon having a freezing point below the reaction temperature, (B) maintaining said solution at a reaction temperature in the range of about -80° up to -10° C. and (C) introducing liquid water into the free-space above the surface of said solution while intensively mixing said solution.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 75 words
A process for making aluminoxanes, said process comprising: (A) placing an inert hydrocarbon solution of a hydrocarbyl aluminum compound in a reaction vessel under an inert atmosphere, said inert hydrocarbon having a freezing point below the reaction temperature, (B) maintaining said solution at a reaction temperature in the range of about -80° up to -10° C. and (C) introducing liquid water into the free-space above the surface of said solution while intensively mixing said solution.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 14 words
A process of claim 1 wherein said hydrocarbyl aluminum compound is a trialkyl aluminum.
