Abstract

Abstract A butterfly clip removably mounted on a paging receiver or like portable equipment is made up of a support section which comprises a molding of plastics, and a clip section constantly biased by a coil spring, which is received in the support section, and openably held by the support section through a spring pin. The support section is shaped complementary to the contour of the equipment. The housing of the equipment is formed with a slit-like recess on its top and a generally L-shaped recess adjacent to its lower end. On the other hand, the support section of the clip is provided with projections at the top of its inner wall which mates with the recess provided on the top of the housing, and a generally J-shaped metal member at its lower end which mates with the recess provided in the lower portion of the housing. The clip is easily attached to and detached from the housing by, respectively, mating the metal member of the support section with the recess of the housing and removing the support member from the housing using the elasticity of plastics.
