In a perfluoropolymer having randomly copolymerized units of tetrafluorethylene, perfluoro (alkyl vinyl) ether and bromine-containing fluorinated cure site monomers, the improvement wherein the perfluoropolymer further comprises iodo moieties present in an amount of at least about 0.05 percent, by weight of the perfluoropolymer, the iodo moieties being derived from saturated iodo compounds.
