Abstract
Abstract A method and apparatus for forcefully injecting drugs into circulatory decompensated patients uses a flush solution to push a peripheral injection of a standard drug dose into central circulation. A pump in a single unit allows rapid repeated flushes and allows one person to administer the drug and flush solution simultaneously. Separate drug and flush administration means reduced potential confusion about whether a drug was administered.
