Abstract The invention relates to treatment of diseases caused by thromboxane A 2 comprising administering a compound ##STR1## wherein R 1 is hydrogen or lower alkyl, R 2 is carboxy(lower)alkyl or protected carboxy(lower)alkyl and R 3 is --CH═N--R 4 in which R 4 is arylureido or arylthioureido and X is --O--, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
