Abstract

Abstract A liquid crystal display device having a circuit board and a liquid crystal display cell mounted on the circuit board. The liquid crystal display cell includes substrates each formed of a flexible film. The liquid crystal display cell has an electrode terminal section, and the circuit board has an outer electrode terminal section connected by a connector to the electrode terminal section of the liquid crystal display cell. The connector comprises a film of anisotropic electric conductivity which serves to electrically interconnect the electrode terminal section of the liquid crystal cell and the outer electrode terminal section of the circuit board and also to mechanically secure the liquid crystal display cell to the circuit board.
