Abstract A polyarylene sulfide resin composition comprises (A) 100 parts by weight of a polyarylene sulfide resin and (B) 5 to 400 parts by weight of a hollow microspherical filler which comprises 20 to 80% by weight of SiO 2 and 20 to 80% by weight of Al 21 O 3 as major components and has a specific gravity of 1.0 to 2.5 and an average particle diameter of 1 to 100 μm

A polyarylene sulfide resin composition consisting essentially of: (A) a polyarylene sulfide resin and (B) 5 to 400% by weight based on said polyarylene sulfide resin of a hollow microspherical filler which comprises 20 to 80% by weight of SiO 2 and 20 to 80% by weight of Al 2 O 3 as major components and has a specific gravity of 1.0 to 2.5 and an average particle diameter of 1 to 100 μm.
