Abstract
Abstract A basic injection pulse width is derived from a table in accordance with speed of an engine and throttle position of a throttle valve of the engine. A time constant for providing a first order lag is calculated from variables dependent on the engine speed and the throttle position. The basic injection pulse width is corrected with the time constant, thereby producing a fuel injection pulse width signal for operating a fuel injector of the engine.
