Abstract

Abstract Combining a carboxylated acrylic latex binder/surfactant/metal salt premix with a polymer binder/LiCl PEO complex/plasticizer premix produces a storage stable, conductive floor polish composition. Coated on a floor, the composition provides high gloss with a surface resistivity of 10 6 ohm/sq. compared to present commercial antistatic floor polishes with a surface resistivity of 10 9 ohm/sq.
