Abstract
Abstract A seed colorant useful especially in coloring seeds to distinguish same from those to be used for foods is formed of an aqueous medium such as water, a dye and/or pigment of a desired hue, and a binder resin composed of the salt of chitosan and an organic acid. The seed colorant may additionally contain spherical resin particles.
