Claim 1
Independent Claim 50 words
A method of removing a blood clot in a mammal in need thereof comprising the parenteral administration to said mammal of t-PA and prostacyclin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein said t-PA and prostacyclin or said pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof are administered in amounts to provide a synergistic effect.
Claim 2
Independent Claim 50 words
A method of removing a blood clot in a mammal in need thereof comprising the parenteral administration to said mammal of t-PA and prostacyclin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein said t-PA and prostacyclin or said pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof are administered in amounts to provide a synergistic effect.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 18 words
The method according to claim 1 in which the prostacyclin or salt thereof and t-PA are administered concurrently.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 18 words
The method according to claim 1 in which the prostacyclin or salt thereof and t-PA are administered sequentially.
Claim 5
Independent Claim 113 words
A method of removing a blood clot in a mammal in need thereof comprising the parenteral administration to said mammal of t-PA and a compound of formula (I), said t-PA and a compound of formula (I), ##STR4## wherein R 1 is --(CH 2 ) 3 COR 4 or ##STR5## in which R 4 is hydroxy, C 1-4 alkoxy, amino, C 1-4 alkylamino or di-C 1-4 alkylamino, R 2 is n-pentyl, cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl or 1-methyl-3-pentynyl, R 3 is hydrogen or methyl, and X is oxygen, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein said compound of formula (I) or said pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and t-PA are administered in amounts to provide a synergistic effect.
Claim 6
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 21 words
The method according to claim 4 in which the compound of formula I or salt thereof and t-PA are administered concurrently.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 21 words
The method according to claim 4 in which the compound of formula (I) or salt thereof and t-PA are administered sequentially.
Claim 9
Independent Claim 106 words
A method of removing a blood clot in a mammal in need thereof comprising the parenteral administration to said mammal of t-PA and a compound of formula (I), ##STR6## wherein R 1 is --(CH 2 ) 3 COR 4 or ##STR7## in which R 4 is hydroxy, C 1-4 alkoxy, amino, C 1-4 alkylamino or di-C 1-4 alkylamino, R 2 is n-pentyl, cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl or 1-methyl-3-pentynyl, R 3 is hydrogen or methyl, and X is methylene, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein said t-PA and the compound of formula (I) or said pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof are administered in amounts to provide a synergistic effect.
