Abstract
Abstract Electrically conductive, pressure sensitive adhesive composite formulations comprising adhesive polymers, electrically conductive quaternary ammonium polymers, electrically conductive water soluble and water swellable polymeric fillers for imparting cohesiveness to said composite, and additionally, chemical agents that retard oxidative or microbial degradation of the composite. The composite formulations yield a flexible and extensible material that is suitable as an adhesive for biological electrodes, particularly transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation electrodes.
