Abstract
Abstract Disclosed is a silver halide photographic emulsion supersensitized with at least two sensitizing dyes selected from those represented by the following general formula [I], [II] and [III]: General formula [I]: <IMAGE> wherein R1 represents an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group, R2 represents a sulfoalkyl group or a sulfoaralkyl group, and R3 represents an alkyl group, and W1 and W2 represent each an alkylene group; General formula [II]: <IMAGE> wherein W3 to W6 represent each an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, or hydroxyl group, R4 represents an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group, R5 represents a sulfoalkyl group or a sulfoaralkyl group, and R6 represents an alkyl group; General formula [III]: <IMAGE> wherein R7 represents an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group, R8 represents a sulfoalkyl group or a sulfoaralkyl group, R9 represents an alkyl group, and W7 and W8 represent each an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, or hydroxyl group.
