Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim 64 words
A thermal transfer recording medium, comprising a support, a heat-fusible layer formed from an aqueous emulsion of a heat-fusible substance coated on said support and dried; and at least one colorant layer formed from an aqueous emulsion of a thermoplastic resin and a colorant coated on said layer and thereafter dried said colorant layer having a film thickness of not more than 2 μm.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 64 words
A thermal transfer recording medium, comprising a support, a heat-fusible layer formed from an aqueous emulsion of a heat-fusible substance coated on said support and dried; and at least one colorant layer formed from an aqueous emulsion of a thermoplastic resin and a colorant coated on said layer and thereafter dried said colorant layer having a film thickness of not more than 2 μm.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 27 words
The thermal transfer recording medium of claim 1, wherein said heat-fusible layer has a film thickness which is thicker than the film thickness of the colorant layer.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 26 words
The thermal transfer recording medium of claim 2, wherein the thickness of said heat-fusible layer is within the range of from 0.5 μm to 3.5 μm.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 29 words
The thermal transfer recording medium of claim 1, wherein the ratio or the thickness of said colorant layer to the thickness of said heat-fusible layer is 0.3 to 1.0.
