Abstract

Abstract The artificial crucial ligament is formed of a plurality of tubes which are disposed in concentric relation to define a stem. Alternating tubes extend from the stem to form two branches. The tubes are made of textile structures to impart flexibility and longitudinal elasticity to the ligament. In one embodiment, the tubes are made of a braided construction.
