Abstract

Abstract A composite camera apparatus employing a video camera device, a still camera device and a strobe device. The video camera device includes an electric circuit for picking up video data and processing the video data to record a video signal on a recording medium, such as a video tape. The electric circuit of the video camera apparatus includes means, associated with a strobe device and responsive to initiation of stroboscopic flashing, for controlling the electric circuit for recording the video signal so that a predetermined number of the video data picked-up at the occurrence of stroboscopic flashing, may not be reproduced when the video signal is reproduced by means of a VTR on a video monitor.
