Abstract
Abstract Integral powdered abrasive soaps are formulated by in-situ reacting on an abrasive, an acid or base component with an antipodal base or acid component. Since the acid or base component resides on the abrasive particles, the formed soap also resides on the abrasive particles and often forms a coating. The in-situ soap is a dry powder and is flowable. The abrasive can be a crushable abrasive so that, upon the application of slight pressure thereto, it breaks down into small particles and aids in cleaning.
