Abstract
Abstract A method for controlling charging of toner particles and/or charge-imparting materials used in electrophotography is disclosed, which comprises using as a charge-exchange control agent an organic boron compound composed of a boron-containing organic anion component and a cation component. A color developer containing the charge-exchange control agent is also disclosed, which is free from variation of tone and reduction of transparency due to the addition of the charge-exchange control agent.
