Abstract
Abstract A sensor for scanning physical processes in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine includes a pressure-sensitive element formed by two sapphire small parts one of which has a recess and forms a pressure diaphragm to which resistors are applied. The sensor is formed by means of the silicon-on-sapphire technology.
