Abstract

Abstract A recording technique for causing a magnetic toner to pass through needle-like recording electrodes by a magnetic force and forming a toner image on a recording medium by a signal voltage applied to each recording electrode uses an arrangement to allow smooth flow of the toner near the recording electrodes; namely openings are formed in a wiring member along the recording electrodes, and the toner passes through the openings.
