Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to new crown ether derivatives of the general Formula I ##STR1## and a process for the preparation thereof wherein Z 1 is a group of the general Formula ##STR2## R a and R b may be the same or different and R a represents an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms and R b is an alkyl group having 1-20 carbon atoms. The new crown ethers are useful in the preparation of ion-selective electrodes having a long lifetime.
