Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim 46 words
A self-cooling, non-loading abrading tool for sanding, grinding, or polishing a work piece comprising a plurality of abrasive particles embedded in a binder matrix, said binder matrix formed of at least 75% by weight of a polymeric resin selected from the group containing polytetrafluoroethylene and polymonochlorotrifluoroethylene.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 46 words
A self-cooling, non-loading abrading tool for sanding, grinding, or polishing a work piece comprising a plurality of abrasive particles embedded in a binder matrix, said binder matrix formed of at least 75% by weight of a polymeric resin selected from the group containing polytetrafluoroethylene and polymonochlorotrifluoroethylene.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 17 words
The tool according to claim 1 wherein said abrasive particles are substantially 4% by weight silica sand.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 20 words
The tool according to claim 1 wherein said binder matrix further includes a stiffening agent for purposes of increased rigidity.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 22 words
The tool according to claim 3 wherein said stiffening agent is ground glass and comprises substantially 15%-25% by weight of the binder.
