Abstract

Abstract Hard spherical bleaching particles are disclosed the core of each particle comprising a dihalohydantoin bleach active, a buffer salt and a binder which mixture when dissolved in water provides a pH of less than 9.5. The core may be encapsulated within an outer coating. Fabric pinhole damage is substantially reduced when bleaching with the foregoing particles.
