Abstract

Abstract A water based ink for printing on fluorocarbon surfaces is disclosed. The ink contains 1.5 to 4.0 weight percent of an acrylic copolymer thixotropic agent, from 2.0 to 3.0 parts of a fluorocarbon resin powder, 1.3 to 3.3 parts of a non-ionic surfactant, 4.0 to 5.0 parts of an alcohol containing 7-12 carbon atoms, from 10 to 15 parts of ethylene glycol, up to 10 parts of a pigment and the remainder water.
