Claim 1
Independent Claim 82 words
A moldable thermoplastic composition which is transparent upon molding comprising an alkyl methacrylate homo-or copolymer matrix resin and of an interpolymer consisting essentially of a methylmethacrylate/N-substituted maleimide copolymer and an alkyl acrylate homopolymer linked through a difunctional reactive monomer prepared in a one-step reaction by reacting together methylmethacrylate monomer, an alkyl acrylate monomer, and a difunctional reactive monomer bearing acrylate or methacrylate reactive groups, the interpolymer being present in an amount sufficient to improve the impact strength of molded alkyl methacrylate resin.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 82 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 29 words
The composition of claim 1 comprising in weight percent from about 60 to about 95 of said matrix resin and from about 5 to about 40 of said interpolymer.
Claim 4
