Abstract
Abstract A color-changeable cement composition for dental use is disclosed, which comprises a first component comprising a metal oxide as a major ingredient, and a second component which can react with the first component to form a set body, wherein the composition contains a substance which changes its color tone with the change in pH so that the color tone of the cement composition can change upon intital setting of the cement composition. The composition enables one to visually observe the degree of setting of the cement composition.
