Abstract
Abstract A liquid crystal device of a cell structure having a pair of base plates, and a liquid crystal disposed between the base plates and in contact with an adsorbent for ionic substance in the cell. The liquid crystal device is particularly adapted for being constituted as a type driven by a thin film transistor.
