Liquid crystal panel

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the liquid crystal panel of high quality inexpensively and readily by letting powder having adsorptivity evenly disperse and deposit on the inside surface of at least the substrate provided with transparent electrodes on the inner side. CONSTITUTION:Fine powder 36 having adsorptivity is evenly dispersed and deposited on substrates 11 provided with transparent electrodes 33. Depending upon cases, a sheet 47 having adsorptivity of the shape nearly the same as the spacer shape is sandwiched on the side where the sealing material 44 provided with transparent electrodes 43 makes contact with liquid crystal 45. With this constitution, the harmful ions eluting from the substrate surfaces, the unreacted material eluting from the sealant, the moisture and gas entering from the panel outside and the impurities, etc. contained in the liquid crystal may be adsorbed and removed and the liquid crystal panel of high quality obtained.
