Abstract
Abstract Ultrasonically bonded non-woven fabric which simulates either needle punched felt or ribcord felt is disclosed. The fabric comprised a loose packed batt which is welded to itself and alternatively can have either one or more additional dense packed layers welded thereon. Methods and apparatus are disclosed for making the fabric.
